Junior Infants

Junior Infants
We received certificates today for finishing Junior Infants. Have a lovely summer everyone!

We went on our school trip to Leahy's Farm. We handled and fed the animals, went on a barrel train, played in the adventure areas, listened to a story and had a hot lunch. It was a great day!

Mateusz's Dad visited our school today to talk about and show us an electric car.

Summer is here! We made ladybugs and boats in art.

We brought our sunflowers home today so we can water and mind them over the Easter holidays.

We are learning all about new life in SPHE.
Farmer John visited our school to show us a lamb and a calf.

We visited the library in Clonmel.

We are busy getting ready for St. Patrick's Day. We painted shamrocks.
We are learning all about Spring. We planted sunflower seeds.
We will look after them and watch them grow over the coming weeks.
We made percussion instruments. They all make different sounds.

We made pinch pots with clay and painted them.

Our Aistear theme for March is 'Health & Well-being'. Michael the Paramedic visited our school to talk about his job and show us an ambulance.

We made hearts for St. Valentine's Day.

As part of Catholic Schools Week, we celebrated Grandparents Day. Thank you to all the grandparents who visited our classroom. We hope you enjoyed the day.
