We are learning about people who play in Geography. We visited the local playground today.
We celebrated 'Grandparents Day' as part of Catholic schools week. Our grandparents visited the classroom and listened to us singing and watched us playing. Then we all went to mass in the school hall. We said a special prayer for all the grandparents in heaven.
We made pattern snakes.
We painted toilet rolls and made butterflies with them.
The RSA Streetsmart village visited our school this week. We had great fun learning about road safety and everyone received a safety licence.
We performed the Christmas nativity story.
Mrs Condon visited our classroom today and we painted snowmen with her. It was great fun!
We are very busy getting ready for Christmas. We will perform the Christmas nativity for the school. We made Christmas trees and Christmas stockings during Art today.

Emma from 'Maxi Zoo' visited our class today to discuss animals and caring for them. She brought in two guinea pigs for us to pet.
We learned all about animals that hibernate during winter. We made hedgehogs in art using clay. We had great fun painting them today.
We learned about different types of work this week as part of Geography. A postman, priest, shopkeeper, nurse and guard visited our classroom to discuss their job with us.
We started dance classes today with Gillian. It was great fun and she said we were excellent.
We will have dance every Friday.
We dressed up for Halloween and collected money for Temple Street. Happy Halloween everyone! Enjoy the break.
